4-Year Stats

July 23, 2010 By Serena Leave a Comment

My “little” Kwabena isn’t so little anymore! I took him to his 4-year check-up today and he’s 44″ and 45 lbs. My gosh! His height was off the chart, literally. I always knew he was a big boy, but damn, he’s the size of a child probably about 6 years of age! I wouldn’t doubt it…..

The appointment went well, shots and all. He got his MMR shot and his DTaP shot, plus a TB test. He was fine on the first one; a little whiney, but the second one he started crying. But he did excellent! It wasn’t like his friend, Sean, who Kwasi had to go along with just so he could physically hold him down while he got shots! So yeah, Kwabena did excellent.

Afterwards, we stopped and got hot fudge sundaes from McDonald’s (our favorite lately). Then we headed home, picked Kwasi up, and went to do a few errands and then stop at Kwasi’s mom’s house. Just my luck that the stupid tow truck that occasionally comes around was hitching up my car and about to pull off (if it wasn’t for the fact that a neighbor was talking to the driver, he would have already been gone!!). Anyhow, $50 to get him to take it down, cash. What a rip-off. Oh well, shit happens, right?
