Thank God for Veteran’s Day! Well, thanks to the Veteran’s, especially. But thanks for the day OFF!!! Being off today really allowed me to get some things done. I still needed to paint the baby’s room–the doors, the trim, etc. And I got that done. WHEW! I also was able to get done the front door in the foyer (whose doors were only primed and terribly scuffed because of the kids, etc). I went to Lowe’s this afternoon and got another gallon of white paint and am planning to attack the rest of the foyer and the formal living room. I have to get started now. The kids just went to bed (another “Thank God” because Kwabena was super wound-up this evening!!). If I stay on this computer too long, my motivation will be lost!
Oh, and I have another good day at the thrift store! I found a small dresser for the baby!! Only $16.00. Woo hoo! A little cheapy, but in good condition, and will serve its purpose!
