December Kwabi-isms

December 30, 2008 By Serena Leave a Comment

1. This weekend Kwabena hadn’t peed for a long time. I reminded him several times and he said he didn’t have to pee. I decided to not remind him anymore and just see how he did on his own. At the last minute he exclaimed, “I have to pee-pee!” and ran back the hallway. He came out 10 seconds later with his underwear still on, soaking wet, and said, “I tried.” LOL! Poor thing didn’t have enough time to get his underwear down! He ran into the bathroom to show me the pee he must have gotten into his potty when he sat down with his underwear on, as well as all the pee on the floor, and slipped on his pee. He said, “Yucky!”

2. Kwabena and I were on his Ikea sit-and-spin thingy and after he had a turn, I tried it, on my back. It wasn’t working too well. Kwabena said, “Mommy, you’re too big!” HILARIOUS!

3. Lately Kwabena loves to pretend he’s NURSING! He hasn’t nursed since probably back in May/June of this year! I have made comments here and there, such as, “Remember when you used to drink Mommy’s milk?” This past weekend while we were about to fall asleep while lying in bed, he rolls over and starts making pretend sucking noises. Hilarious! He gets a kick out of my reaction, so I think that’s why he keeps doing it. LOL
