Last Monday I attended Kwabena’s school field trip to Sharp’s Farm. I hadn’t originally planned to go, but I decided that although I need to save my vacation time, I also want to be there for Kwabena, to be involved in the things that will matter to him. I also wanted to meet the kids in his class and to be a presence that the teacher and other parents will appreciate.
We went to Sharp’s Farm, about 20 minutes away. We saw farm animals, took a hay ride, and picked out pumpkins. I had to watch Kwabena and his classmate, Nate, which was chaotic, because there were so many kids there, and Kwabena, of course, thought he could just go any which way he wanted, so keeping up with both him and Nate was tough.
I haven’t downloaded all the pics to my computer because I am running out of hard drive space (until I am able to transfer and delete some pictures). But here is a really cute one:
