Hello at 5:00 a.m.

First off, thanks to the 4 people that have subscribed to this blog so far! 🙂 I don’t know who you are, but I thank you for wanting to be a part of this!

For those of you that want to subscribe, just go to the right-hand side of the blog and click “Subscribe Me” and enter your email address. You’ll get emailed whenever I post, which has been once per day! Maybe I should cut down on my posts so that I am not annoying the shit out of people. LOL

Anyhow, it’s 5 a.m. and I’ve been up since 3:30-ish. I’m lying here in bed, wide awake, reading about fertility signs. LOL I’ve got a slight headache, maybe from slight dehydration–who knows.

I should be sleeping, enjoying the last couple minutes before Kwabena saunters over to our room and climbs into bed. But I’m getting in some last minutes of computer time instead. Last night I (again) fell asleep in Kwabi’s room while putting him to bed (close to 10 p.m.) and it was 1:30 a.m. when I woke up and came to our room.

Today Kwabi and I are leaving to go to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA. We’re meeting up with my friend named Morning and her daughter, Cheyanne, who is 3 weeks younger than Kwabi. Morning and I have been friends since freshman year of college; very ironic that we should have kids born only 25 days part! 🙂 Just adds a new dimension to our friendship that I really like.

The drive to Dutch Wonderland should only be about 2 hours. We’ll pick Morning and Cheyanne up from the train station. Tonight will be a low-key night, with just letting the kids play and have some fun around the hotel. Tomorow will be all about Dutch Wonderland. I’m sure I’ll have some great pics to show! I’ll be taking my camera, and my new Mac (of course!) so I will try to upload some pics this weekend from the hotel (depending on wi-fi service–I hope it’s free!)

Signing off now so that I can get a couple more hours sleep before our little road-trip!
