Kwabena’s New Room!

August 27, 2008 By Serena 2 Comments

Since none of you read my Procrastination blog (http://decimationofprocrastination.blogspot.com/), I thought I may as well post these pics here! 🙂

One of my procrastination challenges was to finally take Kwabena’s crib apart and tidy up his room (since he hasn’t been in his crib for 8 months now…..). My procrastination was centered around where I was going to put the damn thing (luckily tonight I wrapped it in black trash bags to store in our basement area). But this weekend, I’m happy to say I made progress! I tidied up his bookshelf…….gave him a “toy corner” where I hung some cool ABC and 1-2-3 posters that I bought a while ago at the Everything’s a Dollar store…..moved his Ikea table and chairs into his room for a place to sit and play….. moved his crib mattress where his crib used to be……AND hung some pretty cool Thomas & Friends wall decals over his bed to create a border.

Have a look:

Making progress!!!

AFTER!

Sleeping soundly in his new room during nap time 🙂

And just for fun……this is how I found Kwabena this morning……sound asleep on the floor!! You’d think he’d be uncomfortable rolling off the bed like that! He needs more space. This is the reason he will soon be getting a twin-sized bed (with a bed rail!)

Awww that is so cute – the picture of him rolling out of bed. I love his cozy corner.
