YES! I’m in early labor! I have just a little time to post before heading to the hospital. I’ll make this quick, because really, I should be headed there now.
This morning I woke up and knew that I was leaking amniotic fluid. Well, I wasn’t sure…. but I knew that it was too often to be pee. I decided there was no way that I was going to go to work leaking fluid. I made some pizza this morning (Digorno!) and then went to my dr. office to be checked. Dr. Nardone was there, and confirmed that it’s amniotic fluid. When she checked my cervix, she could feel the membranes, so it appears to be a rupture up high, I guess. There is some blood, too.
The biggest problem is that my blood pressure was about 150/92, which she was very concerned about. She’s advising me to pack my bag and head to the hospital now, to at least be observed, and then if Kwasi wants to wait until the boys are secured after Kwabena gets off from school, then we could do that.
When I just came home about 15 minutes ago, Kwasi’s ass has a big smile on his face, and he’s in denial! LOL He’s telling me, “I can watch you. Just go lay down over there on the sofa and take it easy; we have time.” LOL What a fool he is. MEN! LOL In denial that the baby is coming!!
So, yeah, I am going to have him drop me off, and then have him come back later. I hope I make it later!! The contractions are about every 30 minutes. Looks like I’ll be doing my laboring at the hospital, huh?! So much for it being like my last 2 sons, where I labored at home! 🙂
Anyhow…..if they decide that they should induce me, because of my pressure, or not enough baby action “fast” enough, then I am going to go for the epidural. I honestly don’t want to labor naturally in an unnatural setting of induction! It doesn’t make sense! So we shall see!
Dr. Abraham-Hebert is on call, so that’s great! Tomorrow beginning 8 a.m., Dr. McMillian is on call. I love her, too!
So, farewell, until later! Wish us luck!!!!! Closer to meeting my little guy!!!
