I cannot believe that Kwasi and I took Kwabena on 2 adult rides at the county fair tonight!! LOL But we did! The first ride that Kwasi and I got on, Kwabi stayed with Kwasi’s brother (Uncle Genfi), and wailed his head off. It scared him to see us on the ride.
So the next 2 rides, we took him on. The first was similar to the Tea Cups (but not quite) where it whipped you around pretty fast. My stomach was pretty queazy (when did I become such an old fart that can’t take a little ride??). Kwabena whimpered a bit, but never really cried. And when he heard us, “Woo hoo! Yipee, this is fun!” he actually relaxed a bit and followed our lead, and afterwards said he had fun!
The second ride was The Spider, where he was squished in between Kwasi and me. At first he was again whimpering, but soon relaxed and started playfully saying, “Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!”
I couldn’t believe that we were taking our little just-turned-2-year-old on a ride for adults and big kids! But, we did. And we had fun!
We paid for an all-night pass each, but because the lines were so long, we only went on 3 rides total. We did get to see some horses, which Kwabi got to stick his hands through the bars to stroke.
Oh, and he was ecstatic over seeing the goats and actually witnessing one taking a POOP. He even talked about the pooping goat when he got home. LOL…..That’s Mommy’s boy!
Here are some pics of our evening (thanks for taking pics, Uncle Genfi!!!!)

Fun pics! You guys are cute family!
We take our girls on all the rides too! Alex is a full on junkie, Greggie, not so much.
Don’t you just love them at this age?? Just imagine as they get older and can do more of these types of fun things. Parenthood is the best!! 🙂
