I surely can’t say “Kwabi-isms” anymore, now, can I? So, I guess I’ll just give you a little bit of this and a little bit of that…..
- Kwabena’s asking for a MOHAWK! I think I am all for him having it if he really does want it. He told Kwasi the other day, “Hey, Daddy, you know why I want a mohawk? So when you try to crack me over the head, I’ll use my mohawk to point you!” Hilarious!!!!
- Kwabena is over Thomas and the Cars movie and Lightening McQueen. The new rave is Toy Story.
- Ohene likes to suck my face when I rocking him, if I happen to switch him from one side of nursing to the other. He’ll grab my face with two hands and start sucking on the side of my chin. Super cute (if not yucky, lol)!!!
- Kwabena’s interested in who the previous presidents were. Umm….I suck at history, but thankfully on Saturday while hanging out at the Bethesda Festival, there was a hand-out with all the previous 43 presidents on it. Kwabena and I took some time today going through some of the names. He laughed at some of them. I told him about how Kennedy was shot, and he asked me why was he a bad president.
- I asked Kwabena if he wants to play some sports, like soccer, or if he wants to sign up for dance classes (Mr. I-Can-Dance-All-Night), and he said NO! **gasp** I asked him if he wants to sign up for karate and he said yes. I sooo wish we could afford it. Charging $150 a month or so for kids this age–makes no sense.
- Ohene is so lovable! He’s got this amazing little smile, almost like a snicker, and he’s got a most gorgeous eyes. Everyone who meets him comments on his eyes immediately. I think he gets the big eyes from Kwasi, but the upper eyelid shape is all mine.
