Today I had an ultrasound, at nearly 28 weeks. I’m actually 27 weeks and 6 days. I love having ultrasounds! It’s awesome to see how baby Ohene has grown. My appointment was supposed to be at 2:30 p.m. but I got there early and was happy to be seen early 🙂 Unfortunately, Kwasi wasn’t able to be there since he’s in Ghana. But, thanks for the beauty of the ‘net, he’ll be able to see these pics here! 🙂
As an update, Ohene is growing nicely! He’s now 2 lbs, 14 oz. big. The ultrasound tech said that he’s very long. Surprise, surprise there! 😉 Dr. Kramer admitted that he thought the baby would be bigger (2-3 oz) than what he is, because of my history of glucose intolerance discovered about a year ago. However, he was pleased to see that Ohene is fine.
Ohene is head down, and I hope he stays that way! And considering that babies grow an average of 1/2 lb per week, I am guessing that he will be almost 9 lbs?? Holy shit….Maybe that c-section might be in order….LOL.
It was so cute seeing Ohene’s beautiful little lips! I guess he, too, will be blessed with amazing lips (thanks, Kwasi). I was also able to see his little mouth opening and closing, and him sticking his tongue out. Amazin!
Ohene’s puckered lips 😉

My next ultrasound is October 20th, 4 weeks from now. I’ll be 32 weeks. And then I’ll have another at 36 weeks.
OMG….is time really going that quickly??!!
