Man, I never knew how exciting it is when your child takes a crap on the toilet, but I’m feeling pretty excited each time Kwabena embraces his potty!
This morning I took his diaper off to let him air out his butt (he’s got a slight rash), and to offer him an opportunity to use his potty. I specifically told him “do NOT pee or poop on the sofa!” He kept playing around, running to his potty, sitting for 2 seconds, and then bouncing off to go run through the house.
At one point he told me he had to pee-pee, and he ran to his potty, only to jump off again after a few seconds. A moment later, Kwasi and I noticed the “I’m about to poopie!” stance, and Kwasi rushed to the living room to bring his potty. He willingly sat and pooped!
It’s very excited when your child reaches another milestone, and this is a big one! Way to go, Kwabena!
