I just have to say………I’m so thankful that I’ve stayed committed to blogging! Although the time between my posts have become longer, and I haven’t made as much effort to blog several times a week (I am going to do better!!), I am just so thankful that I have continued to blog and document our lives here. These times are so precious, and it’s really amazing how quickly they pass you by. I know personally that my memory is awful. Without these documentations, how will I remember the minute details of my life as a mom? Some things will just naturally stick in my mind forever, like the funniest things they do and say. But it’s the everyday stuff, too, that I want to document, that I want to pass down to my kids, so they get to know what they were like as children…..so they get to know my thoughts and feelings as their mom……and hopefully I’ll start including more information about my life, my background, my history, my thoughts, my feelings, etc. etc., so that these things can also be published in future Blog Books to pass on to them. I wish that my mom had some something like this for me (although she did do a wonderful scrap book for me in 2002). But something this extensive is unusual. And I can only hope that my children appreciate it as much as I have enjoyed creating it for them.
