Saturday night our friend, Damien, from college, invited us over to his house for he and his gang’s monthly house get-together: there’s food, drink, games…. I’ve never gone before, always because there has never been a sitter, but last night I decided “What the hell, let’s take Kwabena.” One of the other girls there has a 3-year-old, nicknamed Nu-Nu (which Kwabena got a laugh about!), and they placed exceptionally well together! Kwabena is totally in a “sharing” phase, so everything is, “Here, Mommy, I share a piece for you” or simply offering everything he has to other people. So he gladly offered one of his Thomas trains to Nu-Nu, and they played until midnight!!
