Kwabena is jealous. For as long as I can remember, he would run in between Kwasi and me when we tried to hug or kiss. Sometimes we did it just to see what reaction we’d get from Kwabena. To no avail, he would rush over, with a look of panic in his face, as if someone were stealing away his Mommy.
Even now, he is still jealous of Kwasi, but not as much.
Yesterday at daycare, however, one of the other nearly 1-year old babies there looked so cute, I just wanted to hold him. Kwabena threw a FIT! He cried as if he was in such pain! He couldn’t take seeing me show another child the attention that he should be getting.
Makes me wonder how jealously can be such an innate emotion….
I wonder how he will react when and if baby #2 decides to come….?
