Last weekend was Memorial Day weekend, with Monday of this week off. Man, it was a long week….. Anyhow, it was a beautiful, but humid morning as we walked through this really gorgeous trail in our neighborhood. I think it is called Maydale Park. Lovely! It was like hiking through the woods, but you were only a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from neighborhoods, so you couldn’t get lost.
Ohene surprised me by holding is own! He kept up nicely. He probably had walked about half a mile on his own. Of course, I had my camera, and had to take some of my favorite pictures 🙂
Unfortunately, we wasted the rest of the day trying to install new lights in the kitchen. 🙁 But, I guess next time we’ll try to keep the holiday in perspective. We really get no family time for a whole DAY, so next holiday, we’ll put off home improvement and focus more on family time!
