I’m finding it hard to believe that I only have about 17 days left. Where did time GO?? Seriously, it doesn’t seem like it could have gone that fast! Scary! But the good news is that I’m only a couple weeks away from meeting my boo-boo bear! I keep trying to visualize what it will be like to hold him, but I just can’t. It’s till so abstract. But I’m sure once those contractions hit, and he’s born, it will all feel real!
And the best part is that Kwabena and Ohene will be able to come to the hospital to visit!!
When Ohene was born, there was an outbreak of some flu or something (hell, I can’t even remember–H1N1, perhaps??). So, any child under age 18 couldn’t visit the maternity ward. Now, however, kids can come! YAY!!! I can’t wait!!!!
I’m now up to 213 pounds. Seriously???? I’m bigger NOW that I was with Kwabena! How did THAT happen?! Okay, shoving tons of shit in my mouth is how it happened. But still……I was so GOOD with Ohene, and this time, I totally abandoned good eating habits. Now look at me!!
Me at 36 weeks:

Today I had my weekly appointment, and I was 50% effaced, and still closed. But the pressure today seems much more than before. I always know that when the underside of my belly is PARALLEL with the floor, we’re getting close 🙂
It’s getting late, and although I would like to write more, I’m feeling so tired. Tomorrow, I will write more! I promise!!
