This past weekend Kwabena and I traveled to Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA, with my best girlfriend, Morning, and her daughter (3 weeks younger than Kwabena), named Cheyanne.
We had fun! Well, sans the thunderstorms, that is. Oh, and sans the bruised knees I got when climbing the rope “nests” with Kwabena 50+ feet above the ground, as he led me through narrow-ass rope tunnels. LOL 🙂 Oh, and sans the complete mess he got himself in to when he ran wild in the Monster Maze and covered himself head-to-toe in sand, including his eye sockets. LOL (I had to rinse him off in the nasty public bathroom sink!)

I actually felt the trip was a bit overpriced, as there didn’t seem to be $50 worth of activities and things. However, the things we did, we enjoyed. Kwabena absolutely LOVED the water slides. I was hesistant to go on them, being 5 months pregnant and him “only” 3-years-old, but we forged ahead and had a blast in The Count’s Splash Castle!
Overall, it was a good (expensive!) trip, and it was awesome seeing Morning and Cheyanne during our annual Moms and Kids summer vacation!
I wonder what summer adventures Morning and I will do with the kids next summer? 🙂
