Seth and Nicole’s Wedding

September 6, 2009 By Serena Leave a Comment

A little humor is always good, right?……Except when you take this pic as the bride is about to walk down the aisle!! LOL

Last night Kwasi and I attended Kwasi’s friend’s wedding. Kwabena had a half-night sleep over with Kwasi’s brother and mom. It was a fun night! But I admit that by the time dinner was over, I was ready to go, LOL. I was tired, and not really in a mood for partying (besides, it sucks having to be the one of the few sober people in the spot!) Overall, we had a nice time 🙂

I loved my dress!! I debated back and forth for a solid week about this dress, not sure if it would be appropriate enough for an evening wedding. Kwasi liked the dress, but dI even went so far as to return this green dress and go back and go back and bought this dress:

Nice for work, but definitely not sexy enough for a wedding. Thank God I re-purchased the green dress! It was totally appropiate, and I felt sexy in it! I even found the perfect cream-colored wrap for my shoulders, for $13 at Target! 🙂

My friend, Michelle, and me. She’s 8 months pregnant, and I am 6 months:

The ceremony and reception was very classy! The whole time I sat there thinking, “OMG, how much did this COST?!” LOL….. Regardless, it was a nice evening 🙂 We left about 12:30 a.m., and we went back to Kwasi’s mom’s house to pick up Kwabena.

Congrats, Seth and Nicole!
