I know I am a little behind of the times. But I have discovered the joy of PODCASTS!
My old computer was too slow to download them from iTunes, but now that I’ve got my wonderful new Mac, I’m downloading podcasts at the super-speed of light.
My favorite ones have been the Parenting podcasts. Each month they talk about different parenting issues (I just listened to one on “discipline” and another on “toy safety.”)
(Did you know that there are only 15 people working at the CPSC, the Consumer Product Safety Commission [www.cpsc.gov], which tests toys for product safety and issues recall alerts?? That’s crazy, considering the number of toys that enter this country)
I also like that these Parenting podcasts offer a favorite blog of the month. I’ll share with you one they mentioned. I thought it was pretty cool for all of you that are MOMS:
It’s a collection of blogs FOR moms and BY moms. Sort of like this one here. 🙂
Anyhow, if you haven’t discovered Podcasts, I think you should get an iPod…..connect to iTunes….and download all the free podcasts you can.
Next, I’ll be listening to Photography 101 podcasts.
