This weekend Kwabena has is last t-ball game. He’s really been doing well, at least with the hitting part. LOL He still needs to work on his field skills. I think he gets so bored out there when he’s in a position that doesn’t get many balls, because then he starts running over to the other parts of the field, as if he’s in a competition with his teammates to get the ball before them. LOL And then when there’s no field action, he starts playing in the dirt. Funny!
Ohene loves playing in the rocky dirt at the ball field. Ah, just let him– that’s what kids are supposed to do! One thing that shocks me is that Ohene is not a runner. Meaning, Kwabena was a kid that would have to be chased at all times. Ohene actually stays with me and is really easy to take care of!
So after the game, the kids got a nice metal, which Kwabena was very proud of.
Then we drove to Hagerstown. Since Mom has a cat and Kwabena is allergic to the cat (based on allergic reactions twice before), we can’t go to her house anymore. So when we got there around 3 p.m., we drove over to Bee’s house. Within 5 minutes (hell, actually less!) Bee and Trey were arguing about some trip to Canada, and next thing I hear is her outside yelling “Fuck you!” and throwing her keys at him. Total craziness!
I tried to talk to her about it, to get her to calm down and let her know that you can’t react that way, regardless of whether you don’t like what someone says to you. She just doesn’t get it. She even had the nerve to throw in my face that she “helped me more than” me (said this several times), but that “no one appreciates it”, and that “Mom could have told Trey not to talk to me that way!” She’s actually crazy in the head. Thinks everyone else is to blame for everything.
And why would you want someone to help you who throws it in your face? And how dare she throw it in MY face that I “only” gave Mom $200 and she did soooo much more. Well, you know what?? Even if she gave more, she still treats Mom like a piece of shit. I would never treat her like she does. But she thinks just because she helps out and gives money, that people are supposed to accept whatever words and actions that she does that hurt others.
I’ll never “get” her. And sadly enough, she is further pushing her son away. And to think that she won’t admit that Mom has raised Trey, she’s simply in denial. Mom has raised Trey, and nurtured his responsible, loving nature. And Bee can’t accept that.
Anyhow, I could go on and on about that lost soul, but why should I?
Later, me and the kids, Mom, and Camryn went to Rocky’s to get pizza, and then went on to Emma K. Doug park, where the kids had a great time! It was actually nice just to get outside with them!
Here are some pics:
On Sunday, we went to his school and had fun at the Spring Fair. They had moonbounces, food, etc. I entered into the basket contests, but was very disappointed that they didn’t stir up the entries before picking. Plus, they let some kid pic, and the person who last put their entry in was the one that would win! Twice they pulled the same name!!! It made me mad. I really wanted to win a basket!
But overall, it was a fun day!
🙂
Oh, and I realized I have not provided more updates. I used to have Kwabi’isms, but haven’t done that for a while. So here are some “Kid’isms”:
- Last night I was putting Kwabena to bed, and we have just finished reading about baby frogs. I was kissing him and telling him I really liked his new haircut, and he said, “Can we just cut to the chase? I really want to go to sleep.” HA! Oh, the nerve! Don’t know where he got THAT one!!!
- Ohene likes to slap my butt! He’ll come up, slap it, and say “Butt!”
- Kwabena is obsessed with booty, especially MY booty! The other day he was saying, “I love booty! I’m a booty lover!!” And he had the nerve to make a comment about my butt being “chunky.” WTH!
- Ohene’s not using his paci anymore! It’s been a while since he’s had it at home (although I have given it to him during nap when he wakes and I want him to stay asleep). But when I take it, he cries a little, but then he’s okay after a couple minutes of whining.
- The other day I was testing Ohene on his body parts and asked him, “And where’s your elbow?” And he looked past me, looking all around the room. He thought I said, “Where’s your ELMO?” HAHAHA. Kwabena and I laughed our butts off over that one!
I’m sure there are more “kid-isms” but for now, it’s nearly 1 a.m. and it’s taken me forever to add this post. I think I may have to create a new blog, with a more updated template that allows for easier pics upload.
Off to bed!
