When Baby Is Away….

….the parents will play….

Friday night Kwasi and I went to a “white” party for his friend’s fiance’s 30th birthday. Kwasi’s mom kept Kwabi all night. Ahhhh….how refreshing to get dressed and go out somewhere without a curfew. I admit it was hard getting out of the house–there were 10,000 excuses NOT to go–nothing to wear…..being tired…..would rather watch 20/20……Yeah. But how often do Kwasi and I have a night to party without being Mommy and Daddy? Hardly any! So off we went!

Started the evening right with some red wine…

No, we weren’t drunk YET….even though we look like it. But isn’t that why Kwasi was wearing sunglasses at night??

The air RUINED my hair! Look at that frizzy bush….

Oh well……Put it up and spend the rest of the night kicking ass on the pool table….

Kwasi and his friend, Seth. He loves his fiance so much he actually work a shirt with her picture on it. LOL

And by the end of the night, Seth’s sister was ready for a dip in the pool….bathing suit unnecessary. LOL

We got in after 2 a.m., and groggily woke the next morning after 7 a.m. I ate a warm bowl of oatmeal and plopped in front of the TV to watch my DVR’ed America’s Next Top Model, and then went to pick up Kwabi from Kwasi’s mom’s house.

What a nice evening!

I’m even more excited about Jamaica now, coming up in less than a month!! Feels good to party again!
