It’s a done deal! Well……pretty much…..Nothing is 100% sure until we sign the dotted line! But yes, the contract is ratified!

The agent dragged her feet enough to make us get very worried and frustrated. But finally she caved, went to the Sellers, and ratified it. We asked for 2% towards closing, but they cut it in half to $4,000. Oh well. It’s better than nothing!
They also changed the closing date to Nov. 30th, versus the November 15th we specified. That is perfectly fine with me. Means less daily interest needed to be paid at closing. They also put in a contingency on their home of choice. That’s always a shady one, because if they were to decide they didn’t want to move, they could change their mind. I would hate for that to happen. But supposedly they ARE moving, so we should be okay on that. We have our inspection on Monday at 3:30 p.m. I am really excited about it. I can’t wait to see the house again! Here are the pics that I downloaded from the slideshow online. As you can see–tons of wallpaper that will need to come down. But the house has good bones, a great flow, great schools, great neighborhood, beautiful street, etc. I’m excited to live there!
