Kwabi-isms

March 11, 2009 By Serena Leave a Comment

It’s been a while since I’ve posted the latest “Kwabi-isms”. One thing I think that is interesting is how a couple people I know that have blogs for their kids have bitten off of my “isms” format when posting funny things about their own kids. HA! That’s okay…feel free to borrow 😉

Tonight I met Kwasi and Kwabena (briefly) at the park on my way home from work. Of course, I greeted Kwabena like I always do: asking him for kisses and hugs and fawning all over him. Later that night when we got home, I asked him again, “Come here Kwabena, give Mommy some love.”

His response??

“You already gave me love at the playground.”

LOL! Too cute! I just had to share that…..

One day Kwabena told me, “I like [the color] black. It’s nnnasstttyy!”

Umm…..okay, Kwabena….? LOL

Kwabena loves to go to his Nanny’s house (my mom). Last Friday he kept asking me to go to Nanny’s house. I told him that we’re going to go on Saturday (we usually go every 2-3 weeks). He responded that he wanted to go now. I had to explain to him that once the sun comes up, it will be time to go to Nanny’s house. So wouldn’t you know when he woke up on Saturday morning, shoved our bedroom door open, and stumbled into our room, the first thing out of his mouth was, “I want to go to Nanny’s house now. The sun is awake.” Awwww……how adorable! Man….this kid loves him some Nanny’s house. LOL
