Okay, well, maybe I’m speaking too soon….but after all this thought about needing balance, I have started making changes since this weekend. I did all my grocery shopping on Sunday morning……………It actually didn’t take me very long, and I was able to get a decent nap out of Kwabena while doing the shopping before it was time to meet up with Heidi and Isabella (a friend and her almost-2-year-old from my mom’s group) at Chuck E. Cheese (we had a great time by the way!).
I entered this new work week feeling quite the acrobat: able to balance life in a way that made me feel rested, successful, and at peace.
This week I have varied my lunchtime workouts to only 30 minutes versus 60 minutes, to see if getting home 30 minutes earlier makes a difference to my stress levels.
Just call me Mommy, the Acrobat 🙂
