We didn’t get Marine Drive 🙁 I’m a little disappointed, but I think it’s for the best. That house was at the top of our price range; the property taxes were more, and I think it would have been a lot more money to maintain than other properties we’d looked at.
There was a house that came on the market a few days ago that I’m super excited about. We were supposed to go see it tonight but while there waiting for Vanda, she called and said her car quit on her on the Beltway. BOO….. The house was really nice! I loved the backyard and how the trees totally made the backyard private. It was a perfect yard. I soooo hope we get that house. And I didn’t even get to see the inside! Well, I just peeked through the window. But it looks like a nice house. I am just disappointed we didn’t get to see it tonight. 🙁 There is an open house on Sunday, and I am just hoping that there isn’t multiple bids like there were on Marine Drive. UGH……If there is, we might have to take out the closing help offer.
So we shall see what happens. I really like this house and think the neighborhood is perfect. The schools are the same good ones that Colesberg is districted to.
Speaking of Colesberg, Kwasi DID say that we could go for Colesberg if we didn’t get Marine Dr. SOOO…..if Durant isn’t good, or we can’t get it, then I would like to go for Colesberg. I love both homes!
