This week Ohene started talking! I noticed on Wed., May 26, 2010, that Ohene started saying “da-da-da-da-da.” It’s the cutest thing! Funny how he just started doing it overnight. It’s like he’s really having conversations. He’s well on his way to talking….
Today we drove to Hagerstown to spend some time with Mom and the fam. We didn’t get there until 2:30 p.m., after fighting some Memorial Day traffic and after stopping for pizza. Then we went to Mom’s to visit for awhile. Afterward, we went to Maugansville for ice cream (I treated everyone since it’s Camryn’s 7th birthday on Tuesday), and then we went to Bee’s house for a little bit.
Well, tonight I was supposed to go out, but my friends bailed on me for one reason or another. So now I sit at home tonight and Kwasi is taking advantage of Saturday night and going out with Nana (he’s here from Ghana until June 6th). And here I sit at home when I wanted to go out.
Anyhow……..All is well here! Still packing things up, and trying to keep things clean (yeah, right) and soon hope to put this condo on the market and buy a single family home! We’re really moving forward with this now! I’m going out with the agent tomorrow. I know she’s hesitant to take me out since our condo isn’t listed yet. But I need to see some homes in order to keep my momentum going. Otherwise, I’m afraid I will start to stall.
