I never though I would see it again, since it’s been soooo long! But we’re snowed in! And just in time for Christmas!
I absolutely love the snow. And there’s nothing better than getting snowed in, even with cabin fever. There’s something sort of cool knowing that everyone is at home, where they belong, taking Mother Nature’s forced breathing and relaxing time with those most close to you!
It started snowing late last night, and will continue into today, and possibly into tomorrow morning. Ahhhh….relaxing day at home–just me, Kwasi, Kwabena, and our latest addition, BABY OHENE!
This morning we watched Shark Tale….played with a little Lego fighter jet set of Kwabena’s….started on a puzzle….and we’ll see what the rest of the afternoon and evening holds. Kwabena just went down for a nap, at which he yelled his head off, “I don’t want any more sleep!” Even had the nerve to climb out of his bed and open his door while he wailed on the floor. I kept my calm, though, and tried the “timer” trick: set a timer for 30 minutes, and told him that once the time went off, he wouldn’t have to rest. Sure enough, he fell asleep! 🙂
